I totally agree on that, and i like how he still have that pride fighter side in the fight, by example when he asks Piccolo to punch him back since Kami blocked that punch he was supposed to take, he knows he have to defeat Piccolo but he still wants to prove Piccolo he can beat him by himself, just like a respectable martial-artist would want. Even Piccolo at some point wants to prove Goku he can beat him, they are kinda the same in some way, they both want to "kill" eachother but also want to have a good fight.

2021-10-15 21:19:17 +0000 UTCI think it was such a great writing decision, to make Goku lose all the other tournaments. Even though he was always so close, somehow he always ended up only making second place. But this time, second place is not an option. Because he is not fighting for a title or just the honour of a good match. He is literally fighting for the World. This is the last tournament in DB and everything stands on it. Until now Goku always came in second. It makes the tension so much higher.

2021-09-29 16:48:57 +0000 UTCJe kiff bcp la première partie de l'épisode où Goku s'explique, la mise en scène est stylé puis il y a certaines idées de mise en scène que j'aime bien, puis aussi ce magnifique Mega (ou Chô/Super) Kamehameha. Aussi j'aime bien le côté épique de ce fight en gros le fait que ça soit le combat qui décidera de si la Terre sera en paix, ou si la Terre sera dans le chaos, si Goku perd, tout est perdu enfaite et tu ressens vraiment ça à travers ce combat je trouve. Goku est passé d'un p'tit garçon ne connaissant rien du monde à l'espoir de tout une population et d'une planète entière, et ça c'est beau !
