Bassmesh is a Max for Live audio effect that uses a sidechain gate to fade a 6dB/oct low end rolloff in and out. Clear up your low end and give your kick drums punch and weight without sacrificing any of the body of your bass sound! By using some clever phase trickery (inspired by the excellent Dan Worrall), Bassmesh gently hi passes your bass track, but only when triggered via the sidechain input. A simple and effective way to clean up your low end and ensure that your mixdowns will translate with all the power they deserve!
All the effectiveness of sidechain compression on your low frequencies without any of the audible pumping in the rest of the spectrum!
