Yep agree with pretty much everything you say here. I'm getting Cyberpunk at launch because I want to reward them for going physical and I've been a Yakuza fan since picking up 4 in 2014 so I'll be getting Zero again. The likes of Hitman, Outlaws, and FF7 will be gotten down the line but right now I'm feasting on those launch titles (and Deltarune which you missed) so I don't mind waiting for those to go on sale (which being third party, they should be 20% off for Black Friday). The OG Switch was my Nintendo + Indie machine but this time around I might be getting some big third parties here instead of on Playstation or PC because as a dad of a 3 year old and another on the way in 6 weeks, the only way I get to play and finish games now is on handheld

2025-05-19 22:12:28 +0000 UTCHonestly Iβm also surprised that the regular Switch games getting updates werenβt mentioned at all, I think this will help especially PokΓ©mon Scarlet/Violet in a huge way since easily the biggest thing against them was how they ran and if that gets fixed they can be seen in a whole new light.

I just never used the steam deck for anything but Balatro, always used my rig for big games. Itβs in better hands with a couple that donβt have a gaming pc. Iβm gonna make the switch my big indie machine
