What can I say? I was in a bad mood? ... I think it's pretty known that art reflects your feelings and so on, but I really noticed that whan I am 'sad', I do the best - meh.
It's a front view portrait - I feel the most comfortable with these - and as I said in another post, orange/rose gradients are really a vibe at the moment!
I really like the contrast between sad and beautiful - in this case death and a beautiful sunset. Not only do I really look forward to the sakura, cherry blossoms represent mortality, hope and new beginnings in japanese culture. I think it's a nice touch, rather than simply putting lillies on his chest, which represent death.
There's not much to say techniqe wise tbh. This is one of the pieces that only had fun stuff in store for me!
*edit*
Welp, guess his death isn't so farfetched anymore haha!
