Planted seed

Hello hello!
I really wanted to have this up earlier, but I am still grateful I am somewhat on schedule again. I've got some other work going on in the background still, but that's it with angsty Touya for now. After that my dear Spicy-Hoots will get finally their meals and this should continue until December! There's probably a 'SFW' entry post for NNN - so stay tuned!

I have a little story about this - first of all; I really enjoy these "abstract" pieces. There's not much going on technique wise, but I feel like it's more accessable to all different kinds of people. I really have to learn to live with the fact, that not everybody will see the actual work and skill that art is requireing, but meaning and story will speak to anyone. I really like to work on my story telling and I am proud that people get the meaning behind all my stuff so far!

This might be a little different with this one - There's the Japanese term 脳内お花畑 (nōnai o-hanabatake) which translates literally to "garden in the brain". First I interpreted this as someone who doesn't think straight, living in their own world or not seeing the truth - like Touya on multiple levels, but further research revealed it's actully meant like "happy-go-lucky person", a dreamer or "someone with their head in the clouds". So I guess it's intended to be used for a naive person? Anyways - I still really liked the idea since the manga is refering to an (evil) seed planted inside children to reach oneselves goals through them and while growing, will hide the truth more and more for them.

Well, that's what I was going for. As I said the execution of this was rather trivial for me. I had a few initial difficulties with the light and the levels but after just a few tries, I think I did a pretty good job. The flowers were actually the most difficult part and I even created an own Rindou-flower brush so I would never go through this pain again haha! (available as download for Fan-Hoot and up)
Even though I learned to love drawing fluids, I had a few problems with the blood on his hands too - I don't think I ever did this much blood in one place - but I look forward to more opportunities to draw it again.

As always I am happy to hear what you think about it! Thank you so much for your support.
