2023-12-03 21:14:58 +0000 UTCBased on my understanding, hope these explain those what if servant dead and so on Gods diminished in modern world of Fate along with the fall of God Age due to certain event, Gods are getting weaken and then rise of human race, True Ether in the atmosphere and mystery is fading gradually cause of human's perspective tends to pursue material world's logic and numerizing things, so Gods cant possess physical exsistence anymore like ancient time and human lose access to True Ether and Magic, human mages can only perform a Magecraft by spending Mana produced within their body, due to the maximum mana capacity of a single body is limited, many mages tends to explore different kinds of magecraft to store excessive mana, like gems and worms, instead Gods and mystery still somehow exist in the form of nature, religion, urban legends, concept or something far larger in scale which is outside of modern humans perseption. But in lore those imaginary beings goes to imaginary side of the world as mystery fading away, it is unrelated here so dont worry about it. Simply put, now in human age Gods existence in material world depends on the faith or beliefs from interllectual beings like human just like our reality world appeared to be, Heroic Spirits too, they have their basic blueprint based on their legends in various parallel world, but when they are in contract with Throne of Heroes, their form and concept can be granted some power up or alteration based on the highest possible imagination or ideals of collective unconsious of humanity. Servants in each Grail War is the product of human magecraft by getting the details of Heroic Spirit from the throne and insert them into a mana vessel, but the volume of their vessel is too small to contain all the information of a Heroic Spirits so only part of their soul and legend can be extracted hence narrowed down to different specialization and classes or different period of their age, also they are not the same complete soul as the original being but a new born person with given partial of the original soul and vessel although they usually still behaving the same to a degree, those servants with less knowledge of summon will be unable to even realize or differentiate of themselves(except for Saber Artoria she is most probably the same soul and alive but it is complicated and need a whole Garden of Avalon, a novel of Artoria's legend to explain it). When a Servant's vessel is destroyed, their soul goes to little grail first due to the designed ritual process of Holy Grail War, but will ultimately return to outer of the world, memories and events recorded and put on their personal bookshelf but usually they are fresh again in other summon unless the memory are so meaningful for their own self or have the necessary to remember it. Throne of Heroes seems like a joint defense mechanism of planet and a symbol of hope and inspiration for her offspring, Gaia or the will of Earth can summon servants too and capable to provide a much more larger and powerful vessel for the chosen Heroic Spirit AKA the Grand Servant if the threat is out of control , since she is providing the surface enviroment for every primates via different era so she also has the right to use the throne if she wanted to, other than that, planet can also extent her senses via species like fairies, in Fate Gaia is relatively inactive compared to other Type Moon series such like Tsukihime, mages in Tsukihime cant even access to the throne so usually throne service for summoning magecarft are denied when Gaia is relatively upset with human, at most lower spirits outside of the throne maybe, their influence are getting so weak that in the story there are only conflict between the church and vampires mostly. God level spirits and usually demigod can be registered into the Thrones of Heroes, but still depends on their will, if they have unfinished business with current world + lose their capability to manifest on their own way, they most probably would sign up for it, also explain why those servants who answered the summon are surely have some reason to pursue the Grail. But for a God they usually don't easily give permission to use their image, even if some God did, very little summon can fully draw out all the information of a God even a summon performed by the planet herself, if they are ever be summoned they usually have to be further narrowed down or manifest by inhabiting other being which have high compatible and similarities, summoning a Pharaoh for example could be via the body of a Pharaoh related person or a Pharaoh in that era etc etc, as for Christian's God is a God he is in spiritual world, he doesn't existing or lets say can't be narrowed into a single entities to be able to see or touchable in our material world's rules, he interfere with our material world via a mortal body named Jesus which is not even himself right, well just an example, plus not matter which type of God their usually have no good reason or ability to interfere much with human world anymore at least during human age, they just able to see through things for long period of time even until the end so they have no reason to try something for random fun. Just imagine human world is the world of a mother Earth and her human child, outside entities who wish to interfere with the world have to possess power stronger than both of their rules enforced on the world in order to alter it else their can only interfere using existing things such as via summoning a Heroic Spirit from the throne, it is just like if you want to take action on a country you can either be so big and strong enough to take on a whole country by beating it else you can only use its system and people against it right. There is very unlikely a balanced settled down world could have a sudden manifesting of a devastating event, the physics and law of the world is just simply not allowing such event, need to have a reasonable cause to any what ifs, and even before this Gaia will surely reacting to it already before it can be happen, outside of Gaia and collective unconsious of humanity, in Fate it is highly possible the existence of multiple advanced overseers in our galaxy system too, bigger action will have to face stronger counterforce or interference and vice versa, but having corresponding counterforce doesn't means there would become endless conflict though, it is Fate, when you taking action or having a goal, you are destined to some end when viewed in larger scale of space and time. Everyone has their enemy and competitor not matter which side or level they are at right.
