To me, 80% of that guy just want to have fun by observing human, and 20% to convince her to reconsider. Objectively, she is not that determined to die she is just losing purpose of life despite she is still very young, a person who are totally hopeless would not fear of rape or pain anymore, so she is not supposed to end herself in the eye of observer like us. But she still choosed to jump, is just her unmature decision, no comment. This show feels like those to broaden your mind, no correct answer and will leave it to you.
