I will always miss Carol's song with lyrics about genocide, but this one is pretty damn good too. I also love just how much respect the show puts on her appearance. During the fight with Noble Red they both immediately recognize her and are rightly terrified, Carol does not take a single step forward or back the ENTIRE fight, and everyone in the control room is having a small panic attack when they realize Carol is back somehow. I also adore the ease at which Carol broke out of the maze. She used a Superb Song in there and used that to both break the maze and deliver the phonic gain needed to give the team the X Drive transformation. Also, the implication is that Carol is strong enough on her own to force 5 Symphogear users into their strongest transformation state. Yeah, they already raised their phonic gain so she wasn't starting from zero, but it's still a hilariously impressive feat. It then turns the final fight into a fun little escort mission, with all the X Drive users attempting to cover Hibiki so she can get close and land the god-killing blow. She's the only one not in X Drive and she was already injured, so it's nice to see them all taking blows for her to get her in safe. A real shame it was too late though. This now makes two instances of Miku being mind-controlled, this one a direct consequence of how they solved the first. I'm also curious if you recognize the outfit Miku/Shem-Ha transformed into. It has been three seasons since it last appeared, so I wouldn't blame you for not noticing it.
