You guys are correct, we haven't learned anything about Sylphie's parents circumstances. I think we can assume from her reaction that either her parents are still missing, or they're dead. This episode is where the show picked back up for me. Meeting Nanahoshi, learning what we've learned, and also kind of bringing Fitz into the fold with some of that knowledge. The last few episodes were pretty 'meh'. I'm enjoying the whole school-setting to an extent, but when we have so many other huge plot points left hanging, the "daily school life" shtick doesn't really hit right. Also, +1 respect for mentioning Sliders. Man I loved that show.
