I'm sure I've said it before, but I love hearing the theories you two come up with on where the show may be going. Concerning Frieren's age... Theta was speculating that she was over 500 years old at one point in the video. We know that Flamme lived 1,000 years ago from the episode where they found Flamme's tree-place thing. We also know from when Frieren fought Aura and said something like "Aura, standing before you is an elf that has lived for over a thousand." The fact that Frieren also mentioned that she's been concealing her mana "for most of her life", I think it's safe to assume that Frieren was pretty young (in elf standards) when Flamme found her, so I'd probably put her age somewhere between 1,100 - 1,200 years? I don't think the exact age matters tbh, just that she's over 1,000 (since that's the time period when Flamme lived). Don't feel like you need to read the following on-video, I'm just going to put citations to what I said above. Ep 4, 16:34, Frieren "Even after a thousand years, I'm still dancing in the palm of my master's hand." Ep 4, 18:06, Frieren "Did she(Flamme) know a thousand years ago that I'd come here?" Ep 10, 21:23, Frieren "I've spent most of my life suppressing my mana." Ep 10, 21:52, Frieren "Aura, the person standing before you... is a mage who's lived for over a thousand years."
