Build 0.4.0p

Today is a major update, so why does the build code for this update end in a p? because i thought of something to give patrons for major updates, the ability to cheat! patrons will now get access to a new feature called the console. basically you can press ` (the key next to 1) to open up the console. from there you can type in console commands. i've included a list of them ingame which you can access by typing in /h or /help into the console. or if you don't use a /command it'll just print out what you type into the log. also keep in mind that the console is really specific. like if you want to spawn a healing potion it wont spawn if you say "healing_potions" as the item name doesn't have an s at the end.

now that i'm done advertising these are my update thoughts.
this month has been a weird one. not including the power outage. i've been in a weird "slump" when it comes to developing. maining because of this feeling of my game needs more "content" (new enemies, items, upgrades ect). i think this came to a tipping point when i was writing the bat enemy. i know nothing about bats. the only reason why i included them was because of what i wrote for the snake enemy zoo text. but i decided to include echolocation and flight as mechanics which was actually the best part of making the enemy. but because of the fact i know nothing about them i think the writing on the bats suffered (a lot of the text was actually written the day of the update because of how much i was putting it off)
but i think these set of updates in general reeks of this mindset of doing something because i think i have to. so with these next set of updates im going to focus more on mechanical complexity and gameplay elements without so much of a focus on writing.
