What’s with the British bias in F1 broadcasts? I am from the States and have mainly watched via F1 TV, but while on vacation I was watching Sky via ESPN and was appalled at the way some British commentators seemed to be intentionally trying to start a commotion between Max and Lando. Even during the practice session it felt like they were trying to drag commentators like Jenson into it and he kept trying to change the focus to racing. Is this how it always is???

What can Perez realistically do to get his form back? I still don’t understand why Red Bull resigned him so early in the season

Similar to Thomas Knights’ question, Haas seem to have (finally) made an update work on their car in this rules set. Any insight into what they have done differently this time round compared to the problems they had last year?

Alex Raghunath

Hello Mark, is Ferrari now regretting not switching their rear suspension. The Spain upgrade seems to provide the downforce the team expected but the reports have mentioned the suspension not being able to provide the stability for the team to extract the performance or is it something else that maybe causing a problem.

Nevin Knowles

This is exactly why I am so sad! 😭 (great Hamilton win makes up for it).

Stranded_Colourwork

Is there any particular car characteristic trait of the Haas that has caused it to leap forward in performance?

Daniel Ingleton

Yeah this is a good question, I wonder if today showed that what up to today looked like McLaren having superior late race pace is actually a Red Bull tire wear weakness.

I was going to ask last week what McLaren need to do to fix their high fuel, fresh tires pace, seeing as they've consistently been quicker later in races, on worn tires and low fuel, but after today, discounting the wet running, they showed competitive early race pace but fell off at the end relative to Mercedes and Red Bull. Did they make a change on that front or is there something else at play here?

Why didn't Mclaren double stack for inters and cost 15s for Piastri, feels like McLaren race craft in heat of the battle is really costing them in these intense front of the field battles

Daniel Ingleton

Why didn't Mclaren put Lando on there extra set on medium tyres for the final stint? Radio messages beforehand seemed to suggest they were happy to have that option mercedes and red bull didn't have and then didn't use it.

Daniel Ingleton

What caused Max's car to wear out his tires much faster than the Mercedes and McClaren? Is it down to how to the car produces down force or is there something else relating to specific components of the car?

Juan Arevalo

Perez and Red Bull drivers Question. Does the pattern of the last half dozen races bring into context the possibility of Red Bull losing Constructors this year (and next)? McLaren will likely overhaul Ferrari at next race. Ferrari and Mercedes have 2 drivers also bringing in regular points. Hulkenberg has scored more points than Perez in last 6 races, underlining Perez' poor form. There is just no driver of any consistency in the Red Bull stable to support Verstappen. Has this now become a really serious issue and the decline of Red Bull. Does it put into more context the Verstappen to Mercedes fantasy (or even retiring in 2026).

With Antonelli’s performance in the sprint race, is it time to drop one of the under performing drivers and give him a chance in F1? If Mercedes are that keen to get him in the car next year, surely Toto can convince James Vowles to put Kimi in the Williams, worst case scenario he scores the same amount of points as Sargeant. Or maybe Red Bull drop Perez and bring in Kimi as the next big star, like they did with Verstappen. Another chance for Horner to get one over on Toto

Ben Harwood

Probably a question for mid week... The wet weather and DRS being disabled had me thinking, do we know what will happen in wet weather in 2026 with the active aero in wet weather?

Callum Duffy

Did Lewis show he was still the tyre master today with his ability to bring in the soft compared to Max on the hards?

Michael Griggs

Agree 100%. Essentially compromised Piastri, who had same pace as Norris, which lost them a possible win (for either Driver).

Nick of Oz

Will 2024 go down as one of the best F1 seasons and does this now show that 25 will be a an insane season

Andrew Haayer

Where does today's win rank amongst Lewis' previous 8 wins at Silverstone?

Rachel Hillman

McLaren seemed to get every decision wrong today (bar putting Piastri on the mediums). I appreciate the rain complicated things, but they seemed to be obviously wrong, like not double stacking, putting Lando on the sorts, etc. Do you think the strategy team still need to get used to running at the front? Or was it just a particularly bad day? Massive fan from ireland who left it way too long to be signed up here! Thanks gents

Chris Smith

1. Red Bull ALWAYS seems so on the mark with their strategy, whether wet or dry. How do they always manage to get the better of their Mercedes, McLaren or (begrudgingly included) Ferrari counterparts? 2. Mercedes seem to be quite effective in colder conditions. Is this down to engine cooling performance not being as relevant? Or is it aero related still. 3. Hulkenburg quietly going about business this year and last. Is he the coup of the driver market?

Dan Neale

Will Nico Hulkneberg be regretting his move to Sauber for next year? The Haas has made a good improvement this year and a fairly regular points threat, where as the Sauber is in a wretched run of form and been sliding competitively since the start of 2022 and they lost their weight advantage

Thomas Knights

Open question: after watching the Team Reps Press Conference, would you be able to provide insight into the aggressively neutral tone of Toto's answer (for a non-journalist) and clarify Toto's answer to Scotts question during the press conference, including potential Paddock Gossip you can share. Further, it was wildly entertaining watching Vowels, Brown, and Wolff talking 'around' the topic of Horner (and Komatsu looking uncomfortable and like he wants no involvement in it).
