Hello Everyone, Team Radious here!
We are extremely excited to bring you today’s news, as it something that we have been working hard on for over two weeks! Without further ado, we are proud to announce the patron beta of our newest submod, the Beastmen and Chaos rework!
The purpose of this beta is to give our Patrons the opportunity to enjoy it early and to to influence its development, help to test it properly and find any potential issues before live release for everyone. With this in mind, feel free to provide us with any feedback you might have; from your opinions on the icons we used for buildings to balancing and suggestions of future features! After all, that’s why we are here for you!
We also proud of this submod for another reason. It has been one of our most requested ones for a long time, most recently making the appearance on our survey! As such, to celebrate it’s upcoming release, and to give a little tease to all of our other players, we are going to reveal the name we have been calling this project internally “Radious Hordes Reborn Submod”; since it will be the name it will receive upon full release, which you can expect sometime next week!
Here is a little sneak peek of the features you can expect from the beta, the list might be subject to change before the final release!
· Beastmen and Chaos factions are now fully capable of occupying and colonizing settlements whilst retaining their ability to raze;
· They can build their major settlements up to Tier 5 and minor to Tier 3, just like the other factions;
· This also includes two full sets of new buildings: 10 chains for Chaos and 9 for Beastmen; with more on the way;
· Both factions have also received new sets of edicts to solidify their control over the provinces;
· Beastmen are using Skaven hidden settlement mechanic to reflect the fact they would not create permanent settlements, but rather makeshift encampment where they stop temporarily on their way to more slaughter;
· This will force both the players and the AI to be on their toes when trying to colonize settlements ‘razed’ by the beastmen;
· To reflect the migratory nature of these factions, and their unwillingness to settle, all military and garrison buildings cost upkeep for both factions,
· The AI has also been also adjusted so that it will also occupy and build settlements;
· All garrisons, recruitment, income and growth have been given that famous Radious polish, ensuring that the submod will fit seamlessly into your gaming experience.
