Patreon Bi-Yearly Re-Work (Implemented In August)

Forgive any mistakes, it's been a long night with long maths XD

I am going to try to limit these to twice a year - once before RWBY releases, and once for the hiatus. Our channel is ever changing, and with that the Patreon rewards need some editing. These changes will go live Sunday, July 28th so everyone has some time to settle in.

The biggest changes will be for the $10+ tiers and the video ticket system.

This system had to change for a few reasons: Firstly, in the past, the video ticket system has been very unbalanced. Back in the day, $100 patrons got 100 tickets, which would be enough to DESTROY our channel. As we've evolved to have more patrons, we've just realized we need to give out less tickets. Now I've gotten rid of the ticket system all together to make things a lot easier to understand. So basically, the video ticket system had to go

Secondly, as the Patreon has grown, I've realized that we may have an "overload" of patrons. This usually isn't a bad thing for creators with rewards like Early Access, because you are basically posting 1 thing for all those people. If you have 30 patrons at early access, that is no big deal because you post 1 thing for 30 people. But in my case, when there are rewards like this I would have to send out 30 rewards for 30 patrons, and that gets very complicated.

I have done a couple things: 

1. Gotten rid of the video ticket system

2. Put limits on how many people can pledge to the tiers with video tickets

3. "Lite" Tiers. Basically, Patreon lets you have multiple tiers at the same price, but with different rewards. I would kindly ask people to change their pledges to those tiers if they want the other rewards, but not to request videos. For example, someone at the $10 tier may want to get Super Early Access, but not ever request videos. That person would be taking up a spot in the Patron limit for that tier, so I would kindly ask those people to pledge to the "Lite" versions of those tiers, which will be unlimited.

$2 Tier: Tiny Change

- Everything this tier has stays the same. The only thing that will be different is that instead of doing a monthly Q&A video, we will put the Q&A at the very end of the podcast. To me this makes more sense.

 $5 Tier: No Change

The rest of these will be presented how they will actually be shown in the Patron tier descriptions, more or less, they still need to be edited:

$10 Tier: Medium changes

- Access to all previous rewards 

- Exclusive Access to our videos as soon as they’re ready. This could be 8 Days to more than a month early!

Special Reward!: Request A Video!

Patrons can request 1 video. These can be discussion videos, shipping videos, theory videos, etc. These videos can be up to 30 minutes long. The video cannot be a reaction video, to an anime or otherwise, it MUST be a video where we are just talking. DM me on Patreon or post in the video request chat on Discord. From your time of payment you have 2 months to make a request. Basically, you can't pledge now and redeem this reward 6 months later, or something like that. We may refuse some requests depending on the circumstances.

  $20 Tier: Small changes 

- Access to all previous rewards 

- Request 1 reaction video to 1 episode of a Cartoon/Anime up to 30 minutes in length. We can stretch this depending on what it is (for example, some cartoons have a 40 minute special premiere, this would be alright)

Special Reward!:

You will have exclusive access to the Calzone, which is our VIP Text chat on Discord! During the RWBY season, we will do a private voice call to discuss the episode.

$50 Tier Will Change To $40:

- Access to all previous rewards

- Request 2 reaction videos to 2 episodes of a Cartoon/Anime. These could also be combined together to have us react to one episode of a "longer" TV Show. (Example, something like Game of Thrones)

- The ability to Add me as a friend on Discord! We can make a private group chat with Hunter & I so you have direct access to us! 

- Add a friend into the VIP Chat! They can get all the perks of being in the VIP Text Chat without pledging. 

Special Reward!: 

If applicable, I will auto-host your livestreams on my Twitch, and you will get access to the promote your videos section of the Discord Server

 $100 Tier: 

- Access to all previous rewards

-  Request 4 reaction videos to 4 episodes of a Cartoon/Anime. Patrons at this tier could also request 1 full-length movie, or 2 episodes of a longer show. 

- Access to my private Instagram, Snapchat, & a private group with just Hunter & I

-   Add 3 friends into the VIP Chat! They can get all the perks of being in the VIP Text Chat without pledging.  

Special Reward!: 

We can also make videos and collaborate together! We can write the script, record the lines, edit and post the video on my channel! It’ll be our special project. I'll credit you and your channel on my social media post with the video linked!
