2021-03-01 00:04:04 +0000 UTCNick, after you watch The Martian (which, yay!), would you consider adding two short YT vids onto the end of that reaction video? They were released when the movie was, and they're both in-universe (so the actors are all in character), and... well, I was going to give a vague description, but I realized that that would tell you stuff about the movie, so I'll avoid doing that since you like to go in blind. After you've seen the film though, the two videos I'd love you to see are each about 3.5 minutes long, and are available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CumZP6_9sHU and here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wygmxzp6VzY (for others reading comments, they're the "Farewell" and "The Right Stuff" featurettes).

2021-02-28 23:34:57 +0000 UTCSome great films in this poll, I really hope you get around to watching many of them, but I had to go for The Martian as it's a great companion to the other modern sci-fi films in your collection. There are so many films I would love to see your reactions to, but if you haven't seen them (and I'm hoping you haven't so we can see your reactions) I would recommend Leon: The Professional, Catch Me If You Can, Phone Booth and Memento as I think you'd really enjoy them.

2021-02-27 02:44:07 +0000 UTCThe Martian is amazing. Truly. I am super excited for that one. And I'll throw in my support for An Officer and a Gentleman too (it was my pick for the poll). Features a young Richard Gere. Fun fact--Louis Gossett Jr. played the drill sergeant and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He was the first black actor to receive that honor. But it's a super movie--lots of iconic moments. You'll like it. π
