While this movie is no Disney masterpiece, one of the most moving endings in the studio's history is its final image of the two main characters: united yet separate, their bond destined to outlive - but never quite heal - the hurt they've caused each other.

Copper's ending feels fulfilling and pleasant, but Tod ending up with some random chick fox being his "happy ending" is weird for me. I don't see how that could fix everyyyything. I enjoyed that even our antagonists had understandable motivations.

The scene where the old woman leaves him in the forest had me wheeping lol That bear at the end, was the absolute scariest thing to me when I was a kid, I had nightmares about it xD
