THis movie was a fav as a kid, watched it all the time. Rewatched it as an 18 year old and cried my eyes out because at that point I had experienced loss and trauma myself, so I know that feel when Littlefoot is crying in his mom's literal footprint, when he's chasing shadows on the off chance maybe it's real, when he's so depressed he doesn't feel hunger or care about anything. As a kid you can't understand it but now I can't make it through that part of the movie without crying. The end song always gets me too. This movie hurts, but I still love it.
