Vampirella, version 1...

...Finally starting to feel confident with Clip Studio and man oh man this thing has the potential to make my life so much simpler and productive.

If you ignore all the trial and error, the fact that I had to start over after it was about 30% colored and some other issues along the way, this image came together pretty quickly.  It's not finished and needs a lot of touch ups, but damn, I am very happy with the look and quality!

This image is 100% digital.  That blows my mind.  This takes so many steps out of the process.  Can you tell I'm excited?  There's still a lot I need to get used to (scaling, line thickness, etc.) but I think I'm well on my way.  Also, I figured something out...line art in Clip Studio, color in Photoshop (Clip Studio color and brush settings are a tad complicated and more in line with traditional painting).

Full disclosure, I have never read a Vampirella comic before.  However...my first convention was WonderCon back when it was in Oakland CA.  There was a table in the artist alley featuring the new Vampirella book and there was a woman at the table cosplaying as Vampirella.  The above image is pretty much exactly what she looked like (sans the cape).  You can tell that she had a bit of an impact on me (I was 13 at the time). ^^;

Thanks! Same here. Hopefully it’ll help me create more story a tad quicker without sacrificing quality. Fingers crossed!

This looks fantastic! Keep experimenting, I'd like to see what else you can do with clip ^^

At the NY comic con I met one of the models that pose for the comics and she always had trouble keeping the top part of the outfit from slipping off her breasts.

<pedantic>I know that switching from non-digital to digital has huge impact on how you draw, so I'm delighted that your style still shines through. One of the reasons that I sponsor you is your storytelling, but the other part is your drawing style. So I'm glad that the digital option won't sacrifice your style.</pedantic>
