Weekly Update 10.21.2019...
Added 2019-10-21 18:41:07 +0000 UTC… Another busy but rewarding weekend! Ready to get back to making some comics! With two extra busy work days and a lot of driving to boot I would usually just shower, have a light dinner, lounge for an hour then go to bed. This weekend however I changed it up a bit with some Netflix. I always feel weird just sitting and watching a show or a movie these days. I always feel like I should be accomplishing something. It’s the same with reading, unfortunately. ^^; Long story long, I was able to check out two Netflix exclusives that I’ve been wanting to catch for a while: GANTZ:0 and BLAME!
I haven’t finished BLAME! yet (I’ll get to it next weekend), but I’m surprised to find it following one of the manga story arcs quite well. The manga was less about character development and more about the world it’s set in; a world where out of control/sentient(?) machines continue to build a city so massive it covers the entire planet and is thousands of levels high. I’m enjoying it.
GANTZ:0 also follows one of the mangas big story arcs quite closely. The GANTZ manga and anime has a lot of problems (unlikeable characters, long drawn out fights and monologues, and an overly nihilistic tone) but it is so weird and alien with great moments of tension (no one is safe) that I can forgive most of the issues it has (like characters taking five minutes to decide whether or not they should shoot the monster that quickly approaching them with intent to kill). I remember when the first GANTZ anime hit the scene. It looked so distinctively its own that I felt like I was encountering anime for the first time all over again. I enjoyed GANTZ:0. It’s not for everyone. It is dark. It is violent. It’s also unpredictable and very creative. If you’re not familiar with the manga or anime or the manga you may find it a tad frustrating at times, but for me, it was worth the watch.
Okay, this is another busy week for me, but the next page is pretty simple, so there shouldn’t be any problem getting it knocked out. Also I'm taking a couple of half days this week (thank you guys for that). Once that's done, I’m going to get as much of the next page done as well. I also have some DnD themed warm up drawings to finish up for $5 Patrons as well. We’re only four or five pages away from the end of chapter 3! Once it’s done, I’m going to go straight into chapter 4! Chapter 4 will have a different release schedule as I feel like I’m cutting too many corners to make the current two page a week posting schedule (even with all the buffer pages I still have, I feel like I’m rushing a bit). Not sure what the new schedule will be, but I’ll be sticking to my normal schedule here on Patreon with at least a page a week. :)
Alright everyone, the week has begun so let’s make some stuff! Have a great week everyone!

Very cool. Always looking forward to the next step and I agree with a slower release schedule. If you feel like you have to cut too many corners, Quality over quantity.
