Weekly Update 03.16.2020...

…Well, things are getting interesting out there. I hope everyone has some emergency supplies and some extra food, water and medicine. My wife and I are pretty healthy, so I’m confident we’ll be fine. I’m much more worried about my parents and extended family. I’m also worried about whether or not I’ll still have a job in a few weeks. As much as I’d love to make my living solely through comics, I’m not quite there yet. ^^; Thank you all for your continued support. Your contribution is going to keep things together for me until we can get things sorted.

Okay, serious stuff out of the way, let’s talk comics!

BLACK LABEL is moving along and we should have a new page this week as well as page one of GR. I didn’t have quite enough time to finish up GR last week, so I’m hoping I can get that knocked out. I also have a new warm up sketch design that I’m mostly happy with, so we’ll see how that goes.

Since I have more time this week, I’m going to sit down with my computer and figure out how to live stream. For whatever reason, I can’t get the screen capture to work. I’m pretty sure it has something to do with clip studio, so I’d like to get that figured out so I can do some live streams as well as figure out how to record my drawing sessions. A speed draw video might be cool to do. Hopefully I can figure that all out.

I’m thinking of going back and making a fix or two to the latest page of BLACK LABEL. I doesn’t really look like their having a discreet conversation to me, so maybe I can fix that with them leaning closer together, tighten up the panels, more extreme close ups, some shadows, etc.…not sure what, but I’d like to fix that. We shall see.
