It was. I made a lot of mistakes and learned a lot. It supposed to be a 30 or 40 page one shot, but I wound up pushing it to see how far I could take it. About 240 pages or so. Unfortunately I wrote myself into a corner with no idea where to go. A fun ride, but I’d do it very differently now.

For a long time I wasn't sure where it was going or whether the author was going to bring the hammer down and suddenly get deadly serious...but then I finally realized: It's simply a comedy at heart.
