Weekly Update 09.21.2020...

Posting a little late today, but I couldn’t wait to get to work! I’m taking a break from Chapter 5 today to work on the missing epilogue for chapter 2. It’s only one page, so I want to get the detailed sketches done today if I can and then get back to the next page tomorrow. It would be really cool if I could knock out both of these pages this week, but I’m going to try and not over do it. ^^;
Had a busy day of writing yesterday! I haven’t taken a day to just write for a while, or at least that’s what it feels like. I try to take a day once a week, but it’s easy to get caught up in other stuff that needs doing. I have so many scripts at this point and then my wife asked me a question that started a train of thought that suddenly turned into eight pages of notes for a new comic. That’s how it happens I guess. Don’t worry, BLACK LABEL first! So excited to get to the next chapter! We’re so close!

I was complaining about how there was barely any hentai or Bondage related comics that I enjoyed, so I decided to make my own (so spite, basically). I was also reading sunstone (which was called Shiniez at the time) and was inspired. What started as some one page gag comics quickly morphed into a character and narrative driven series.

I’ve figured out new projects need at least a year of development for me to get to know the characters and what not, but I found a lot of fertile ground. Essentially we were talking about polyamory and the different ways that type of relationship might develop, and it made me think of a fun/touching scenario with some interesting new characters.
