Love how you've caught Ellie's... thoughts in this. Like she's not panicking, but in that wide-eyed look, so can almost see the gears frantically turning, as she tries to find the answer. Also, she looks freaking gorgeous in the 3rd panel!

This is less about the safe word having a cost and more about getting the scene back on track again. Essentially, the ball is in Ellie’s court, so she’s got to get it rolling again. Maybe the line, “this is gonna cost you”, needs to be reworked or dropped. I’ll sleep on it for now. Thanks for the constructive criticism! 👍
