The Vol. 1 campaign launches July 19th-Aug. 2nd! Finally, solid dates and deadlines are all lined up! Setting up a campaign has been something of a full time job, between learning how all the sites and tools work, comparing different plans, getting a printer lined up, advertising and all the other little things you'd never think of or plan for. It got to be such a bear to deal with that I was starting to avoid working on it at all. How I long for the old days when I could just order a bunch of books and mail them out to whoever wants them. ^^; Fortunately, things are finally rolling!
We went to PortConMaine last weekend and had a fine time hanging with friends and perusing the dealers hall. Good times! I also participated in a panel on making webcomics, so that was fun!
Along with making adverts for the upcoming campaign, I've also been working on a short, palette cleanser comic. I'll be posting the first two pages for $5 and $10 Patrons.
June Mail Club Rewards are going in the Mail today and I'll be sharing the July design soon!
Somewhere amidst all this activity, I also took a couple days to just turn my brain off, relax, and play with/train my new kitten Tatsu, who is a very good boy. :)
Thank you all for sticking around and supporting my work. My skills have improved a lot this past year and I'm finding ways to manage my time better. I hope the improvements show. Now let's make some comics!

2023-07-02 15:46:11 +0000 UTCIt was small one day convention spread over three days so there was a constant stream of fresh attendees! Hopefully Iβll table there myself next year, but itβs pretty much the biggest venue available with no room to expand, which is a shame. I think the artist alley had 40 tables and they had over 200 applicants.π also Iβm pretty sure youβre required to cosplay to attend because everyone was in costume! π So much creativity in such a small space!
