Thanks Kou32 for the fun idea that brought back an older comic I'd written back when BLACK LABEL was less of a graphic novel and more of a comic strip. I like these shorter episodic strips. As much as I enjoy the unique feel of the slower burn comics, this was super refreshing for me and brought back a treasure trove of ideas that I can explore.
Of course, it would have been way cooler if I had finished this back in November, but hey, 'life finds a way,' amIright?! ;)
Gonna see if I can get one more thing posted before the year ends. Fingers crossed!

I didn’t originally have the slam. I added it at the last minute because I wanted to contrast the klik, but yeah, it doesn’t work with the padlocks. And the padlocks need to be there since she’s walking away. Hmmm…I’m gonna have to sleep on this one. Thanks for the save!

2024-12-31 06:19:12 +0000 UTCI'm glad you had fun with the concept and that it could bring back an older idea! ^^ This was really cool to see how you played with the concept and these remind me of the early days of black label when they were more silly episodic shorts. I still love the main comic, but those were also a ton of fun and it's nice to see the style brought back for this. Maybe you can do more to help break things up a bit. Give yourself a break and keep things fresh. Some of my favorites when Sam, Val, and Ellie turned the tables on Meg.
