There are less catchers in the hall of fame than any position besides 3B (justice for Rolen!) and their effect on the game is arguably the hardest to quantify of any of the positions. if you were overlord of the BBWAA what would be your criteria for a catcher making it into the Hall of Fame? How much bad offense are you willing to put up with and who makes the cut? Surely Joe Mauer, right? Yadi? Posey? Brian McCann? Should Jorge Posada have gotten in? Jason Kendall?? (Jeff Mathis???) Who's on the right track of young-ish guys besides Realmuto? Grandal maybe? Salvador Perez, or is that pushing it way too far? (I'm clearly a "big hall" kind of guy and I gather from your HoF ballot video you're at least not a "small hall" guy but push back if you think some of these names are absolutely ludicrous!)

I know you're a big fan of Votto and Larry Walker, and there's also some great Canadian content on the Braves (Soroka, Anthopoulos as GM, and Freeman holding Canadian citizenship sort of counts too). Anyways, what steps need to be taken in Canada to continue growing the game and increase the number of Canadian players in MLB?

There are always a few favourites, but, every once in a while, an unexpected candidate surprises everyone to win the award. For example, the 2019 AL ROY was expected to be between Vlad & Eloy. Instead, Yordan Alvarez ran away with it, while John Means finished second. Last year, Gavin Lux was the preseason NL favourite, but his demotion opened the door for the Devin Williams/Jake Cronenworth battle. Who are some under-the-radar rookies that you think will give Arozarena, Hayes & co. a run for their money in 2021?
