Andrew dude, I think you've got an awesome voice, I've heard singer/songwriters on YT that honestly couldn't hold a candle to you. A big part of singing to me anyway, is imparting soulfulness and feeling to the vocal performance and you do that in spades. Now, as for the mic shootout, I must hang my head in shame, I honestly did not hear any difference between the three mics at all, but then at 57 years old I know I've lost quite a bit of hearing, especially in the higher frequencies. I think the last time I measures it, my hearing rolls off at 13Khz, after that nothing. So I imagine I'm missing lots of colour and harmonics that would round out the sound heard from these mics and from the recording itself, for me they are just not there. Guess I don't have to worry about spending big bucks on mics :) Love the inspirational talk at the beginning of your video as well. As a very amateurish basement musician, I'm always struggling as to whether I should even continue and you're talk inspired me to keep going and just be creative in whatever way I can. - THANK-YOU!
