WIPwed: Mario and Luigi and a patron opportunity

At this point it'll probably be seen on streaming, but I've really enjoyed everyone posting wholesome brother content with these two. I've seen some really awesome hugs out there, so I was thinking of drawing one of those at some point, but I predict when I see the film I will be very much inspired to draw Mario Brothers Hugs. For now, here's what I'm pretty sure is my first attempt at either brother... probably ever.
This will be the picture I finish if Mario wins the poll I put up on tumblr. I want to make it a patron opportunity to put forward other franchises and topics for future polls. If there's something you'd like me to try to draw for the first time, or you'd like to see me draw more of, put it in the comments and I'll add them to next month's lineup.
As of right now it looks like Scooby Doo is winning the May poll fyi.
