February Update

Hey there Kin!

I've just got a small planned news update. I've been a bit busy with IRL stuff including the wedding, new plans with Sketchu and Malic, and a few other things. They're working on some pretty good concepts and writing. Sketchu made this nice concept of Mint (the Ice dragon)'s office and has made several other new concepts that we are going to be excited to show you!

Here's a cool one of the dragon's tower that he produced!

Malic has been working on writing the introductory sequences for the new characters that will be put in the game. Speaking of new characters, that's what I'm here to talk with you about!

Last time we did a poll for which character would be added next, I'm planning on doing the same thing near the end of march for LQ: Fire when Sketchu finishes up all the concepts and Malic finishes helping me write the characters, that one will run a little smoother since I'm trying to establish a backlog of content so that a delay like this doesen't happen again. Wicklow's portraits are being worked on and her scenes are already in game. So we need to decide what character gets worked on next!

YCH slots are also still planned to be finished around mid to late February, so around the 20th-28th is when I'm planning to have a new version out with all that added content.

Thank you for your patience as it has taken a fair bit longer to make this then I anticipated. I plan to readjust my original timetable for this game by the end of the month to give an accurate date of completion. It's looking likely to be finished at the end of March, but if a delay occurs it might be more like mid April.

Here's a tentative timeline:
YCH + Wicklow stuff finished sometime in Feb 20-28th
New character added by the first week of March
We're planning on adding a new character every 2 weeks by patron vote.
Other character portraits done by mid March
Backgrounds finished by the end of March
Full release at the end of March/Mid April
