I think it might be a little important because being pale is one of the things that is characteristic of Isabel and defines her from just being 'some really big lady'. Like, with her hair wet and not in its usual style, if you told me that this was just some big girl with a similar face to Isabel, I would probably believe it. I hope that makes sense, lol.
