AHH I bet reading braiding sweetgrass after this is amazing!! I put this book in between braiding sweetgrass and mushroom at the end of the world on my bookshelf because they feel like siblings lol

I'm actively reading Braiding Sweetgrass rn and I saw a lot of crossover between the two, and yes, the other book is much more poetic. Mother tree has poetic moments but stays grounded as a memoir, so we really got more of that science aspect with indigenous knowledge sprinkled in rather than being the focus. I know y'all read it a while ago, but I'm glad I'm reading it so closely after Mother Tree!! <3
