With "Poetry Lovers" out, here are some behind the scenes stuff. The cartoon was produced fast: I wrote and storyboarded it on January 15 (note that I scribbled out the premise on a leftover Christmas stationary) and started animating on the following day. I finished it on January 21, and after a night of editing, posted it on the 22nd.
This was a rather impromptu production (I was in the middle of contacting voice actors for the "Fuzzy Princess" cartoon). My goal was to finish it by Valentine's Day, but I ended up finishing it earlier than I anticipated, ha haa. Happens sometimes.
The animation was done on Clip Studio Paint, the first time I finished a cartoon with that program; my past cartoons from 2020 were mostly done with ToonBoom Harmony. I've been enjoying animating with CSP, especially with the ability to use CSP brushes (Harmony is limited with what brush you can use, depending on the version you're using), which is a major plus for me. I'm planning to use the software to make the Fuzzy Princess cartoon.
