Special Music Club Event tomorrow: Choral Classics through the Centuries
Added 2024-11-02 21:53:38 +0000 UTCHi y'all! I'm all set and prepared to present a session of some of my favorite choral pieces. We're doing a special Music Club tomorrow, Sunday November 3, at 2:00pm eastern time. I expect the session to last about 80-90 minutes.
The format is to feature a single favored piece of choral music from the 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. All of these pieces have a special place in my education and repertoire as a performer, and I'm eager to share this music with all of you.
We're gathering on Discord in the Music Club channel. If you're not already active with us on Discord, this would be a great time to get connected!

Was SO interesting for rank amateurs like me, seeing how the structure and composition developed over the centuries. And we got to see Doug pre-beard!
