REMEMBER: Fan Favorites submissions are ONLY accepted via our Fan Favorites channel on The Daily Doug Discord. Any recommendations made in comments here will not be considered.
In this month that celebrates love, rather than focus on romantic love (falling in or out of love, attraction, etc.), I’d like to turn our focus to the type of love that can be found, for example, in friendships, or to a stranger on the street, or, yes, also in romantic partnerships, and many more examples. I’m talking about the love we see in acts of kindness, giving, caring, support, selflessness, self-sacrifice. For example, Natalie Merchant’s song “Kind & Generous.” These are the types of songs I’d like us to focus on this month.

It’s truly a masterpiece and Mikael who happens to be a close friend of Steven Wilson and many others in the prog rock/metal scene, has crafted something special with this recent album. Ian Anderson does a voiceover and plays flute on some parts. Paragraph 4 and 7 (these are two songs). I may suggest. Also, as a huge Dream Theater fan, I’m enjoying all your posts about them and the Parasomnia reviews. Be well my friend! And by the way. I’m sorry if I posted this in the wrong area.
