Exciting news! I am going to Washington, D.C. with recently graduated students next week. We were supposed to go on this trip last year, but it got postponed due to....ya know.
Anyway, I have embarrassingly only been once, and that was 21 years ago, so heck yeah this is gonna be awesome. I am planning to turn my adventures there into my first YouTube #shorts video, and I'll probably sucker one of my former students into filming me for it. Wish me luck. Oh, and that will take the place of a regular video next week.

Personally, I think the two worst things Reagan did was expand the War on Drugs and continue to topple foreign leaders who were democratically elected in other countries.

2021-07-23 03:20:16 +0000 UTCthing that bothers me about iran contra is that it's portrayed as the worst thing reagan did, same thing with watergate for nixon. i'm not even sure iran-contra is in the top 5 of the worst things reagan has done. besides, turning down complete denuclearization with gorbachev eclipses everything else.

In Nicaragua the Unions have a iron grip on the countrys as well as the socialist party it keeps the nation crippled economically. Daniel Ortega is truely a dictator over the nation finding ways to alter their constitution to keep himself in power. It is not all bad though the food was good, people were over all nice. and the weather was wonderful.
