2021-08-07 19:07:21 +0000 UTCA nice objective piece on all types of government. I like it! I love democracy and I like the checks and balances in the United States system of government. However, it’s in need of serious reforms. Supreme Court justice should have term limits, abolish the electoral college or end the “winner take all” system and putting a stop to gerrymandering.. all of those things are threat to a true democracy.

2021-08-06 05:31:50 +0000 UTCYou make a good point that the Presidency is very powerful. Parliamentary democracy would allow for a single leader to make quick decisions at a time of crisis. So long as there is a good enough constitution, the Prime Minister would only serve at the behest of Parliament. So it seems it solves the problem of a leader having too much power. It would be interesting to see a video of yours explaining how you would would propose the United States adopt a parliamentary system. There would be several interesting points to explore. Such as, would State Legislatures be replaced with Parliaments and would the legislative branch at the federal level be unicameral or bicameral.

For me i have two types of favorate government types one is what i would like to live under and the other is what entertains me when i read about them. I think your form would be about the type i like to live under but i love the senate two per state rep rather then via population amount though i would be all for if one senator represented the urban area while the other the Rural. So mine would be a Constitutional Republic or a Constitutional nonparty parliamentary government. I love reading about the Eastern Roman Empires government. the Absolute Monarchy were the new Emperor still has to be elected by the Army and Senate.
