What Was Watergate?

I remember having a hard time wrapping my head around this scandal when I was learning about it for the first time (after first coming across it watching Forrest Gump, of course!). It does get complicated, but hopefully I broke it down well enough. My goal is that American history teachers will find this video useful in the classroom!
Here's the story of the biggest political scandal in American history.

Qoute below. "Future watergate video. ive been hearing four things on that recently. 1. there is no proof that Nixon ordered the watergate brake in. 2. Nixons or his employees wasn't the first that used things like the taping a political opponent. 3. there was no living presidents prior to Nixon alive when Watergate investigation took place. 4. he wasnt the first or last presdent that recorded convisations in the white house."

It was William Goldman who wrote the screenplay for All the President's Men; but he also wrote the screenplays for The Princess Bride, Marathon Man, Papillon, Misery and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. He has a rather impressive filmography... Neat huh?
