Full Metal Jacket 101 (The Beat Goes On)

This is a collaboration with Jared Bauer, the co-founder of Wisecrack. I met Jared back in 2019 and have enjoyed staying in touch with him. He is a deep thinker and a big reason why I still have hope for the future of this planet. Be sure to check out his YouTube and Twitch channels, in which he analyzes other art!

That's a good list for sure. My favorite film directors are Sidney Lumet, Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch.

It still blows my mind that Kubrick made so many smash hit films in the late 1950s and 1960s. Then two films in the 1970s. Two films in the 1980s. Then one film in the 1990s... Peculiar dude but brilliant.
