The Switch in Time That Saved Nine | West Coast Hotel Co. v. Parrish

Thinking about changing the title of this one to "When the Supreme Court Stopped Being Conservative." What do you think?

Thank you for your continued support!

Yeah in Kansas it's still $7.25 an hour. The highest is currently DC where it's $17 an hour last I checked. It's nearly impossible to survive on minimum wage most places in America.

Mr. Beat

I am glad the government made it to where there is a minimum to pay but honestly it kind of screwed everyone over because a lot of states like Oklahoma still have a state minimum of 7. 50....and don't get me started on how A.I has made it harder for people to find work. I have a lot of opinions on how the government and the workforce don't really work well like they did back during Roosevelt's tenure as president. I am aware that it wasn't that great either, but I feel like we have gone backwards some instead of forwards.

Ann Anderson

It does but our politicians can't agree on it

Jakob Birnbaum

heh, that dude was something else

Mr. Beat

Oh there certainly is. It could work if the law said that every time a new president got elected, they got one extra pick on the Court. Repeat this for five terms at least. Does that make sense?

Mr. Beat

Also not surprising that Mr. Beats' 2nd worst Justice McReynolds sided with West Coast Hotel.

Jakob Birnbaum

If only there was a way to expand the supreme court but not turn it into a political game such as adding an equal amount of conservative and liberal justices, since many people want to expand the supreme court but only for the benefit of their party
