Continuation to the post: FEBRUFAIRY RESEARCH
A bit to remember....
We have:
The hardest part of this small project was aiming to be original. I can't, not to the fullest, no one can create ANYTHING without accidently get inspired by something they saw years ago and got printed in their minds. So, like this sceneries and locations have heavy references. I need them because everyone needs them if they want to get colors, composition or anything right. But with the right amount of own ideas!

It's been quite a year, but I've had time to create SO MUCH CONTENT, not only for Hileywinn of course. The biggest difference is now I have a bigger selection inside pintere's Hileywin folder and it's GREAT.

There are places that are still unlocated between available kingdoms, those are wildly out of folders. Basically every kingdom has its natural irl colors asigned with the exception that, it's not really ALWAYS that season. It's the season that predominates in all 365 days but not the only one.
Winter has the most extreme cold temperatures

I find Summer super exciting. Not only is the opposite pole of winter. It's obviously inspired in what would look like Egypt, but it's a mass of cultures and none in particular. In fact, faeries weren't always in their own 'planet' , 'world' or whatever you want to call it (prison seems just fine). They once got in touch and lived merged with different human, medieval cultures so it just makes sense they would have been heavily influenced by most of them, then modify everything, adapting it to their own.

This is going to sound strange. Autumn is the only kingdom that has used more actual technology implementing it to their daily life. It's still pretty uncommon, it's inspired in steam punk rather than actual rechnology. They just love to get comfy. Why use their wings when they can construct big flying balloons and hunt lightning to feed their electric systems. (They also use water, solar and wind energy. These creatures are retty respectful with their environment).

My fairies in general are conservative in some aspects, they won't advance much in technology but they are already changing their social standars and some of their dark culture side. Not all tho. They have always been vicious and small wars are a constant issue.

Spring is the center and main plot of my novel. One of their leaders was the reason why they had to forcefully get away from the normal plane. It's also the kindgom with more political issues. You can follow my lore post from IG (or the ones I post here, story bits telling the tales of Elyon, Son of Yibaotu) and read the evolution of the story, along with small illustrations.
From all kingdoms there's fae that is not talked about, not in broadlight. They are treated as outcasts, evil witches, monsters, the enemy, rebels, everything bad and all the tales to take the kids to bed fast.

Funnily enough is the biggest folder, with a reason. That world is not home only for faeries even though they populate the bast majority of Hileywinn. Between kingdoms and hidden in dark forests, The Shadow greets and grows. They accept everyone seeking refuge but not eveyrone is nice. Between Shadowners 'The sadoners' , (ESP: Los tristes, as a mockery) there are exilees, runaways, evil villains, rebels, actual sad and outcasted people, but also great big families, kind faeries, weird pacific creatures that won't get forced into any weird politics.
"First was light and dark, for them cannot exist with the other.
War struck and divided. Thy creature from the deeps thrived.
Together were indestructible, apart they were just fae.
Conflicts grew, misunderstandings got deep and new religious groups emerged from the previous sheep.
Now forgotten, tossed aside, treated like underlings, Night faes and Day faes then grew weak.
They don't know what underneath lies, what horrors await for all those who look above their shoulders.
They don't know this is not home.
They don't know they are already gone. "
You just read a snippet of my biggest villain ever. The worst of the worst, the most unexpected and no one knows he's there. Waiting.
So yeah, they probably got given a planet that was already habited by something unknown. We'll see. Just imagine having someone at home, telling you how everything is theirs and theirs alone, you are just trash, and evil!! That's the faeries....yup. THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW.
