NSW and QLD state governments have basically thrown land clearing laws out of the window and in turn, shockingly, the amount of native bushland being destroyed has skyrocketed. This is not good news for the planet - or for the countless native species who are being burned alive.

You're already doing that by donating to Jordies, but perhaps there could be something that we as a community could do? You Can also annoy the shit out of your Labor MPs, keep pressing them. Keep them on the straight and narrow. At the end of the day, it's their jobs on the line, and they won't know how to keep their jobs unless they know what their constituents want.
