Healthcare: An Aussie Reacts to Steven Crowder

Greetings Friendlyjordies patrons!

Apologies for the lack of early access on this one. Jordan has been touring a lot this week which pushed us back a bit. We were only able to complete this video this afternoon.

Today we take a look at Steven Crowder "DEBUNKING" the World Health Organization's report into the quality of healthcare in 191 countries. The United States ranked much lower on this list than he would have liked, for a multitude of reasons.

As you might expect - we have some issues with his arguments.

As always, thank you all so much for your continued support of our channel! We apologise again that we couldn't get this one to you early.

Have an awesome weekend!

Love, The FJ Team

Healthcare: An Aussie Reacts to Steven Crowder

The reason why there's an opioid epidemic is because to see your GP to get a checkup, it costs you $400. But to see a doctor just to get some medication, it only costs $125. People constantly see meds advertised on TV, and opioids are cheap as hell there. People would rather give themselves a literal heroin overdose than to actually treat their medical problems. Because healthcare costs are so fucking high... I say that as a guy who lived In America. It's fucking shit.

I'm an uber driver and I picked up an Australian guy who lives in the states. He literally flies home to pick up a case full of insulin because it costs him $150 here or $5000 in the states. He can fly here get his meds, visit family for less. WTF. He said people die or have complications all the time from diabetes because they are rationing their insulin.

You know what causes loads and loads of cancer? Living long enough to get cancer.

Fantastic video, great work. We need to stop the Australian healthcare system following the American model. This won't change until we wake up to ourselves and stop voting for Liberal governments. Also if you do decide to take out private health insurance, use it in a public hospital. When you do this, the insurance money goes to the hospital rather than to the shareholders.

Brilliant stuff as always
