Because the changes to Patreon are happening soon we've made this poll open to everyone, it's also been less than a month since our last poll. Once the automatic shift happens we'll have more info for you all.

Hi Jordies, any chance of adding the money printing over covid to the list? Ive heard how much the US has been printing. Thought our dollar should be awesome because of it. Then the penny dropped... Do you have any recommendations for books that analyze political biases and propaganda? I'm from Canada and there's so much noise, fear, and misinformation around basically every topic that most people I've talked to seem to confuse our politics with the US's. It's really daunting to try finding a starting point (to argue with them) but, I think understanding the structure of our government should be step 1. Is there an area you recommend people should educate themselves in outside of political science and governmental structure to get a better understanding of their local system?

NACC doesn't dole out punishment now corruption commission does. Michael West and the rest of the whiny media class just want to throw mud before an investigation is finished. Most of an investigation is non public anyway, the only bit that should be public is hearings and they can be the Director just has to say yes. Really the pressure should be on the NACC not the government. Everything needed is there they just haven't used it, so far.

Talk about raw dogging trips, that line which I've got at least 8 times this year, is brutal. No power, no signal just BAM! 12 hours in the countryside picking up people from country towns who have obviously drunk their licence away. The whole train smells like damp boots, and the toilets are just one big urinal. Plus, the tickets are pretty damn expensive. The one up shot is they sell booze, and the staff donโt care too much for their RSAโs

Even if it's to gather support for them so when they finally do make a decision that the media would flip shit over. There is a strong enough base to keep the ship up. But this really has got me feeling rather defeated. I can only imagine the agony the families of those who lost their lives watching the heart breaking decision of the NACC to not investigate robodept. All because labor didn't follow through with that promise. I had so much hope after the last election. Now I just feel lied to and so sad for the families of those who lost their lives that may never get justice.

And before everyone piles in, I know that jordies thinks there's enough criticism of Labor that adding to it doesn't help and it's not his job. My opinion is that having a friendly critique of your fuck up will show Labor that even their most hard core supporters are disgusted and if that is jordies/our sentiment they can extrapolate the general publics response. Jordan has a bit of power that he doesn't recognise. He has every opportunity to be strategic and actually get Labor to put through sensible policy. Instead he ignores Labors vote-losing moves which further ingrains their inability to win a second term.

Enforcing - and being seen to enforce - anti-corruption efforts would have been a huge vote winner. I'm continually impressed by Labor's inability to communicate and build a narrative around themselves, whether it be near apologising for sensible policy like dividend imputation reform that lost them the 2019 election or hold the LNP to account for robodebt in a non-parliamentary setting. It's a fucking joke.
