Patreon Suggestion Poll (multiple votes)

Hello Patrons,
We've collected some of the popular topics from thread we posted a few days ago. Some of the topics are quite similar but we wanted to put them up as separate options. Again, we're letting you vote for multiple different options, so go nuts and let us know what you want to see.

We've already got a video in the works on Dutton's eagerness for a Musk style DOGE and one on Sky News' fixation on antisemitism.

We'll definitely make the winning option and seriously consider other popular choices. The election is coming up so we want to make the videos you want to see!

Check back tomorrow for another long video we're showing you early. It's on Australia vs New Zealand and how political history has made us both so similar and different.

I'd love to see Jordan do the ABCs Vote Compass test lol.

B.M. Deadrock

Here’s another recent topic that I think needs a look in. The claims that 2/3 of Medicare indexing will remain at 1999 costs + cuts to certain path services will cause gap fee & leaving patients, disproportionately mostly women, out of pocket. Something seems fishy here, it’s not a typical Labor move and feels a dirty campaign funded by bad actors.

Jzawo English

The whole salmon farm debacle.

Alexander Martin

Please review the punters x Max Chandler Mather video. Even just make fun of the way max talks again.

Alexander Martin

Need a video on how Labor is closing the transnational corporations evasion of tax and how it is reducing income inequality/cost of living

Daniel Hargraves

Need some videos for the union delegates in Friendlyjordies audience, we give toolbox talks to a captive audience weekly. I'm a delegate for the plumbers union, I use your videos for dotpoints in my toolboxes to talk up Labor, and have had a few join the Labor party! 💪✊️👊

Mick

not necessarily all of their members are bad people obviously, but quite a few of them did a lot of dodgy stuff. i think that they make other unions look bad and give companies a reason to not pay workers a fair wage

Cambo

My dad works in construction managing construction sites. The CFMEU threatened him and his colleagues over contracts, access to building sites etc

Cambo

Take a look at 'The fake terror plot that fooled Australia' video from the the west report to get up to speed. Basically, the government used a fake terror plot to justify laws that can imprison people for expressing a political view for a minimum of 2 years.

Jesse Bldwn

It's absolutely bananas the things these corporations get away with in this rural towns..you honestly couldn't make it up

Darien M

What?

Darien M

He has a website literally called friendlyjordies the facts created for this purpose, would recommend checking that out, And I'm curious, why were you being threatened by the CFMEU?

Indigo

I was there in 2008 - 2009, and left town at the start of 2010. That was the period Rio Tinto took over (their internal magazine called it a "friendly merger" as Alcan's name was wiped from existence) and when the GFC hit. It was a goddamn disaster. I cannot recall what the names of the immediate communities around the plant were called, but I sure do remember all the issues while I was there. Here are some for anyone readings who is interested: - the power plant switching to high sulphur, brown coal during the night-time to save cash, which was dumping soot, ash and acid rain all over the surrounding communities. Rio would switch to the high-grade coal during the day to hide their crimes. The acid rain. Omg. It happened all the time, and I have one memory of me running between the powerplant and the lab I worked in, trying to get out of the rain. It melted the ends of my hair that wasn't protected by my helmet. It was really distressing. - soil testing revealed levels of radioactivity in the gardens of homes near the plant. Love that. - the attrition rates of the alumina was so high - this means the alumina particles (alumina being what the plant produces) were very small and brittle and not robust enough to withstand movement or transportation - causing a dust plume to settle over the harbour and the bay. When the particles interacted with the salt water, they could turn into this strange sludge that blanketed the sea floor in the harbour, which destroyed the sea grass meadows and devastated the dugon population, which the aboriginal people there absolutely adore and depend on! - Swastikas painted on Bonner Rocks. - Swastika stickers on helmets, hanging in lockers rooms throughout the site. I told my Dad about this, and he told me to keep my mouth shut and my head down.

story

Let's hear friendly jordies defend Labor limiting free speech with minimum sentencing laws for speech the government dosnt like, because caravan hoax that they would have known was a hoax.

Jesse Bldwn

You need to do a video on the "youth crime epidemic" that is going to be a major factor in the upcoming election

Michael Walker

Indeed I am, pretty much lived next to it for a few months... Could imagine you might have some interesting stories to tell from that time

Sebastian Max

Are you talking about Gove Refinery? I worked there for two years over 15 years ago and I've never gotten over it.

story

Rio Tinto would be such a great topic to do a long form video on... Have long been aware of them after spending time with a community affected by one of their bauxite refineries, truly a reprehensible organisation that's only destructive.

Sebastian Max

Thats a lot of great option.

Nathan Croucher

Why the CFMEU do that huh?

Nathan Croucher

You are off your face. They do nothing!

Mick

I wonder if it's possible to do a video highlighting the shortages, weak points and general negatives of Labor? Doing so whilst trying to be objective as possible, but i think that would go a long way to dispelling the general mud/sh*t slinging that ALWAYS occurs around this time. That way, voters would be better equipped with genuine negatives and a possible solution to them, as opposed to the multi-million dollar efforts of downright propaganda and click bait crap that'll be fed through tv and social media.

Dan Goodwin

Not really. SafeWork and FairWork cover that gap more than enough. Cfmeu give other unions a bad name.

Dan Goodwin

Actually yes, do a compilation of reactions to people having a crack at your videos. See what's satire vs see what's bought opposition. I'm sure you'll get more if it with the election coming up. The "marketing scheme" will be to try and nullify influential voices like yours Jordan.

Dan Goodwin

I was turned off when Crisafulli was made fun of for his height and something about being like a used car salesman. (I was impressed by his acceptance speech where he quoted some kind of famous Labor saying and Miles just made attacks in his speech. I was also impressed that he is against having nuclear plants in Queensland - perhaps the LNP is technically a different party to the Coalition)

Luke W

All of the options are really good. I think when you cover certain topics, like the QLD state election for example, I really thought it was funny, but I could see why people would be put off by some of your more vulgar comments about Crisafulli. When I showed it to my Dad, he really didn’t enjoy it (he voted independent). He also REALLY hates the CFMEU because they have threatened to harm/kill him and our family multiple times amongst other illegal activities he’s witnessed on construction sites. I mean you have your own style and that’s fine (hilarious), but if you wanted to reach a wider audience then perhaps you could focus more on facts rather than insults.

Cambo

Regarding what Dutton would get rid of, when talking to Senator Bragg, Penny Wong claims that the opposition believe that government/Commonwealth shouldn't have a role in housing or invest in housing. (but why should people care?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej6CPlhZwHM

Luke W

Yeah, yeah, yeah! That's just the way Google Analytics started: "Do you have time for a little survey?”... 😅

orphan_by _choice

Haha you’re right! For some reason initially it wasn’t letting me choose more than one option.

Russell Coight

I know the pole is already done, but i would like to see an objective factual video of what labor has done wrong past and present. I like labor 100% but theres always 2 sides to a coin. And i feel like any of the articles or videos ive seen are heavily biased. And i think its more realistic and human to say they've made mistakes. Sort of hate how everyone tries to say their party/leader is perfect.

Michael Conduit

Don't like? Don't interact! Simple!

julie-anne brett

Whats pretty obvious Josh?

Jay Good

Although wealth inequality is a symptom of a lot of the decisions within government, highlighting it in a video and how it's come to be would be great for helping people understand why we can't put up with these Oligarchs and the profound effects they are having and will continue to have on us.

Jay Good

Definitely want a combo of how bad it is under the liberals and how to convince people to vote Labor leading up to the election. Also Warhammer lore video reaction videos are equally important haha

Tom

Chill out man 😎

brolly

I wanna see Rio Tinto get absolutely fkn rkt

story

I’m off twitch by my next subscription anyway. I’ll give that $8 a month extra to this. Might compensate for your unfortunate loss of faith in this channel.

Al Goormay

I mean, look at these options, it's pretty obvious. Although it's probably more accurate to say that their audience suck, which means you.

Josh

There 50k plumbers, 160k etu members nationwide. Without a cfmeu it makes sites so much more dangerous

Mick

*37000 cfmeu members in Victoria

Mick

*37,000 in Victoria

Mick

Cfmeu members? There are 30k in Victoria alone.

Mick

“The inner suburbs” tell me you’re from VIC/NSW louder, moron

Bomber

This attitude tells me you live in the inner suburbs. Yes we do.

Alex Isaac

He did on Jordan shanks

Alex Isaac

If duttons wins his seat. But you're talking about 20,000 votes nationwide too..

Alex Isaac

Suck at what specifically?

Alex Isaac

i have great news for you my friend

madikin

You guys suck! I want to unsubscribe so bad, but I appreciate how you investigate corruption in the government.

Josh

Wish I could vote twice- it’s a hard choice between advocating for labor’s achievements and a naked orange video

Russell Coight

Something about US Australian relations and Warhammer

KnockKnockitstheKGB

Do a video about Naked Orange and try not to mention The Annoying Orange

Joseph Russitano

The more information out there about the damage that the Coalition will bring, the better. Keep it up, Jordan!

Psyprass

Those results (so far) are giving "we're eager to fight for a Labor majority government" and I'm here for it.

Luke

You know we want that orange video - give it to us son!

Sistafista278

The cfmeu were growing membership numbers in labor. then they were kneecapped & scalped over bikies working on the tools in construction industry? labor are hated on site, it's crazy. dutton is going to win.

Mick

You know what we really want. I want Jimmy to do a skincare video. I want him to beef with JamesCharles. Now that's an ever green view winner.

Dob WoLF

Bruz - needs its own channel !

Roxann Legg

Agreed he won't steal votes but he may just badmouth Labor and make fence sitters choose independents, the ownt choose him but that isn't his goal

Bradley

More BRUZ content as well!

JC Strout

Do we really need an explainer video on fatty? It’s just UAP with a USA coat of paint

Bomber
