I'm an Australian that lived in England from 2008 to 2011 moved there right before the financial crash, (not good). I was eight-eleven years old during those years. Mum moved us three kids there as she wanted to connect to her extended family that she had never met, my father had also just committed suicide in 2007 with my grand parents blaming mum for his death alienating us and cutting us from the family (National voters). The best education period of my life was in England and it was wonderful to intrinsically understand our western cultural heritage from a European point of view (great history classes). But the support for single mothers and lower class people are horrible, Australia is far more equitable and egalitarian, she moved us back here to Au as we bled money over there, it was very tough for us financially and she worked two jobs for three years!!! With the cherry onto being my undiagnosed Autism and ADHD, tough for her mentally, physicaly and spiritually. Luckily she moved us back while Labor was still in government and was able to start her own business. I love England as it opened my peripheral vision to a larger world, but our Labor party and quality of life here in Australia is far superior and lots of young people don't realise that because we are so isolated on this Island. So incredibly grateful to our Labor party and all it has accomplished and so grateful to be Australian. Go Gough, Bob, Keating, Rudd, Gillard, and Albo!!!!!!! There literally won't be enough workers to support the economy.

Brexit makes it harder but only in the way that if you do not have a skill, qualifications or enough money to show you will not be sponging off the EU social system you will not be allowed to stay. Oh and you need to be willing to learn the language of your destination country.🤪
