Hello Patrons,
We're putting out an extra early video this week as a Patreon drive. EB Games Staff confess their sins, a lot of people have been clamoring for this one in the comments.
We know you usually prefer the political vids here so have a look at our post from yesterday for another early vid, that one's a long, detailed video on China.

I debated telling this story, but I figured I'd share it here. Before I got married, I briefly worked in an Egghead games, a lot like an EB (we have those too). I think they had them in the UK , not sure about Oz. I distinctly remember a guy who came in every day. Nice chap, but very shy. He would always wear the same outfit: long coat over a hawaiian shirt, layered over a t-shirt, with a fedora (thank the gods it wasn't a trilby), with these big, chunky, retro style headphones. I often knew he was coming because I would smell him before I saw him. The sad reality was that he rarely, if ever, showered: apparently this was the outfit he used when interacting with the outside world, and wore the clothes so much that there wasn't enough time to wash them? I suspect he was on the spectrum, and I am too, so I won't be too harsh about that. Fast forward a few years later: I'm now married, and we've moved to an entirely new state on the other side of the country. We go to the first gaming convention we've attended since our move. First night, we're out of the elevator going to check out the open gaming area, when a familiar smell strikes me. Guess who? Same guy, same outfit, same headphones. For some reason, maybe he just travels to popular regional game conventions now(?), the dude is here, too. Saw him all weekend. I assure you he was -not- a ghost. Saw him in the vendor area. Saw him in the flea market. Saw him playing a board game. (Not Wingspan, Jordan. This was before Wingspan.) Later saw him coming out of a D&D room. I still see him at local events, from time to time. The coat is a bit worn now. The hat a little more grey than black. But the guy is still essentially the same.
