As far as the 'shopping arcades' go, they missed 'Cross Arcade' which is similar to County Arcade, https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-interior-of-cross-arcade-leeds-west-yorkshire-england-united-kingdom-39667360.html https://www.mylearning.org/resources/leeds-cross-arcade-1909 and they missed the more modern 'Victoria Gate' but with it being modern it looks nice but, you know, without the charm of history. When they were in the Market, they walked past a green building - they probably didn't realise but that very market is where Marks & Spencers, or M&S, was founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer- back then just as a market stall before it became the huge retailer it is today Other Leeds inventions include Jelly Tots, Cluedo (Or Clue, in the USA), Joseph Priestley invented carbonated water in Leeds (Shove that in your irnbru and drink it, Scotland), dubiously JRR Tolkien taught at Leeds University for 5 years before writing Lord of the Rings and its believed life in the city and county of Yorkshire inspired things within the book Also, if you like history, you can see the Leeds Cross, a re-assembled stone sculpture from between 900-1000 AD, so likely to have been built by a crossover over Anglo-Saxon and Viking people of the time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leeds_Cross https://chrisnickson.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/leeds_cross_face_a_north_face.jpg?w=768 As well, the city centre is very pedestrainised so you can walk from one side to the other in pretty much 15 or 20 minutes

Ah brilliant, i'm glad it went down well! I'd not heard of this pair till I originally watched this but they do do a lot of travel videos and go to some places you will have heard of and some you definitely won't have. I was waiting to see how you liked them before putting any other of their videos in any of the playlists (And might swap them out for more 'mundane' ones I have put in) Great reaction guys, I can finally put my soul to rest. I'll just try to answer a few of the things you guys/they mentioned and pop on a couple of cool little facts that they missed (Purely because they probably weren't aware themselves at the time) Strap in Brucey The building where you were saying "What is that!?" is a 2001 permanent art installation by Richard Wilson in 2001 called 'Off Kilter'. You can't enter it but I believe it stores electrical maintenance and sub-station kind of stuff https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-off-kilter-a-sculptural-cladding-around-one-of-the-buildings-in-millennium-39293866.html This is the 3000 year old 'Leeds Mummy' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nesyamun It was indeed an Elk skeleton, not a Moose (But I also thought it was a moose) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_elk#:~:text=This%20specimen%2C%20discovered%20at%20Lough,elk%20is%20the%20sinister%20supporter. On the water taxi (Which is sometimes completely free) you'd not be expected to give a tip at all, but with something like that mostly being used by toursists they'll no doubt get a couple of quid off a few people a trip (Also why I suspect its Β£3 per ride, so you break into that fiver note and have some coins spare!) As well, on that trip you would go under the 'Leeds Bridge', where today there is a blue plaque commemorating Louis Le Prince, who moved to Leeds in the 1860's to work on his invention and recorded 2 videos at roughly the same time. "Roundhay Garden Scene" and "Traffic Across Leeds Bridge" - the latter of which was filmed from where his blue plaque is now. The significance? They were filmed in 1888 and are strongly believed to have been the first recorded footage ever, in the history of the world. Vid can be seen here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_Le_Prince#Traffic_Crossing_Leeds_Bridge_(Single-Lens_Camera_MkII)

I enjoyed this one, thanks guys. Nice to get commentary that isn't a dull monotone voice like the usual educational videos. These two were fun and good to listen too. Might give them a sub :)

Almost every single museum in the UK has completely free entry, as it should be.
