Very cool! Good to see a comment from you 😁 You mentioned a few artists I like, and a few I’ve never heard of. Gonna have to give them a Google 🙂

2025-04-13 13:37:34 +0000 UTCWhile we’re on the topic…. What kind of music DO you all like to listen to? Have a favorite artist/band?

2025-04-13 13:15:35 +0000 UTCGlad to hear you enjoyed her, Daz. Completely new on us too. We’ve got a YouTube member who’s been a member for a long time, and he’s always been good at sending us good recs. Very raw talent, but as Cheeky proves, everyone likes different things.

2025-04-13 13:15:12 +0000 UTCOooh we’ve got ourselves our very own Simon Powell, hard to please, Cheeky. Haha kidding of course. Glad you’re honest about things that don’t really impress or interest you. You’ll have to tell us the best pubs to hit. Having a pint and listening to local live music was one of my absolute favorite things to do while I was in Ireland. Funny story with being hard to please… one of best friends is involved voluntarily with the little town I used to live. Every summer, that town puts in their town celebration. She got involved volunteering to run a lip sync battle, and I got involved being one of the judges every year. I roped Stephen into judging with me one year and he was an absolute Simon. Mind you, these are all kids in the contest (it takes adults too but no one over 18 rarely ever signed up). It’s mostly kids between 6-11. He’s rating them low on most topics, saying they could do better at x and need more eye contact etc etc. It was quite funny. My other best friend who was the other judge and I had to tell him he had to ease up just a bit, it was a small town lip sync battle, not Americas got talent 😂

2025-04-13 13:00:57 +0000 UTCMeh, 4 out of 10, a bit pub singer-ish. Pretty average vocals but a nice song, i guess. A lot of screeching for my liking.

2025-04-13 11:28:20 +0000 UTCFaouzia is a completely new one on me; not my usualy style of music really but that said I really enjoyed that. And WOW, what a voice she has, and a live performance at that? She has serious talent
