What is Snooker AKA Pool?

Comments

😂 snook like book

Killermcknight

Ah good the snooker's on, there was a drama on yt I wasn't into, lol. To get into snooker, watch any "147 maximum break" video to start with, snooker matches tend to be quite long.

James

"Snucker"? Like the famous Peanuts beagle Snuppy? :D

Steve Webster

For a game you’ve never seen before you nailed it pretty much straight away. Snooker is difficult so pool is much more fun to play with mates in a pub

Rob Brown

Yeah its super impressive to see too.

Karl 70

😂 I’m sure there would’ve been something.

Killermcknight

Ah I think you’ve shared a photo of that place, unless it’s a different one?

Killermcknight

This was reaction perfect by the way. Youtube approved 🙄

Karl 70

I like the way that Ronnie is able to play either right or left handed depending on the shot. The mans pure genius

Craig Henderson

Genuinely impressed how quick Stephen picked up the rules- its hard thing to understand right off the bat but he took it in far better than I did when I was shown the game by my Dad. Basically, Ronnie O'Sullivan is the superstar of this game and I generally lose interest if he goes out of a tournament. Litfle fact for you: the felt or baize on those top tables is made in the factory just behind my house (Hainsworth), can literally see it from my spare bedroom window

Daz Parker

I think snooker tables are actually wider the pool tables are long. I could be wrong but they feel like it. Going straight from a pool table to a snooker table makes it feel like yout playing on a tennis court. Conversly going to pool table after playing for 2 ot 3 hours on snooker table makes the pool table seem tiny. I did that once and cleared the whole pool table bar the black in one go. I definitely wouldn't normally be able to do that. Perspective is everything

Karl 70

One major difference is the table size, a pool table is as long as a snooker table is wide, snooker balls are about 20% larger too..

Tim Covill

Ronnie ronnie ronnie, what a player, typically pool players struggle with snooker bigger table huge angles. Played snooker for years and my highest break was 57 but to see the professionals do it wow and you must do Ronnie

Mark Sanders

Another fact. If a player pots two reds with the same shot, they score two points.

Craig Henderson

I was going to say the same. Ronnie's 147 was spectacular.

Craig Henderson

So now watch Ronnie O Sullivans 147 fastest in history that would give you a good idea how it's scored
