And juts a reminder, its Leeds but not from me đ€Ł Yeah I believe this was a competition on Channel 4, I dont know the mechanism of it as I never watched it while it was on, but I assume its similar to an Americas Got Talent or an X-Factor. That performance wont have been staged though; they definitely wouldn't have been able to shut Leeds Train Station just for that so the response is about as organic as you're gonna get on a TV show. The judges are a chinese pianist called Lang Lang, and the singer who was a pretty big deal about 15 years ago called Mika (you may have heard 'Grace Kelly' or 'Big Girls You Are Beautiful' or 'We Are Golden') Leeds is actually somewhat of an international powerhouse in the world of Piano apparently. We teach a lot of pianists here and host the International Piano Competition. The presenter is Claudia Winkelman. She hosts loads of shows here, you'll see her more often via WILTY the more you watch it. And finally, what a fantastic thing to do to be a Be My Eyes volunteer!
